Elizabeth Robinson

Research Officer

Elizabeth has been a Research Officer with the Research Institute since completing her Psychology Honours’ degree at the University of Melbourne. She has been involved in implementation and evaluation of two social connection programs: HOW-R-U?, a telephone based social support program for community members at risk of social isolation, loneliness, and depression; and Connecting Communities to Care, a whole of community program involving social prescribing to combat social isolation and loneliness and improve wellbeing in older community members.

While her work focuses on preventing and managing isolation and loneliness in older people through social connection interventions, she also fosters a keen interest for rigorous research methods, psychometrics, data analytics and neuropsychology. She has also been involved in data management and analysis for projects investigating deprescribing medications; individualised diabetes management; non-medical interventions for people with dementia; and profiling home care clients receiving complex care. 

Elizabeth has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
