Caring for carers - our respite care services

Engaging with the carers who trust us with the care of a loved one is a priority for us.

We know supporting the health and wellbeing of carers means better outcomes for everyone. That's why we provide short-term respite care options including support at home, day respite and short stays in our residential communities so you can take a break from your support role.

Respite allows carers time to:

  • take a break
  • take care of personal business
  • maintain relationships outside of their role as a care

You can rely on our specialised staff and contemporary facilities to provide respite services that work with you to meet your family's needs and include great amenities and activities, nutritious quality meals and private spaces, in addition to excellent clinical care.

You may be able to access two types of respite:

Centre-based respite

Centre-based respite services include day respite services and short-term respite stays in our residential communities.

Day respite clients live at home but attend regular centre-based activities and outings for social interaction and to promote health and wellbeing while giving carers much-needed time.

Short-term respite clients have full access to site services and amenities, a private room, activities and wellbeing support and nutritious meals, in addition to quality clinical care.

In-home respite

We're here for carers.

Our in-home respite services provide assistance or relief when carers are unwell or need regular planned time out.
