Bolton Clarke residential aged care communities are staffed around the clock by dedicated workers and nurses who can provide care, including in emergency situations, to our residents at all times.
Additionally, specialist services like dementia and palliative care as well as allied health professionals are ready to assist and support our residents.
Working with At Home Support
Working as part of our At Home Support service is rewarding and exciting! It provides clients with the nursing, personal care, physiotherapy occupational therapy or social worker support they need to stay well or to recover from a hospital stay or procedure. The At Home Support service coordinates care with medical practitioners, other service providers and family members, to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes.
This may mean visiting a family member’s home, a client’s school or workplace, providing care as and where it is needed.
Working in Residential Aged Care
Older adults in residential aged care often come to us with multiple health and medication needs. Older adults have reduced physical and mental resilience so small changes in their health can have consequences for their well-being. The growth in the residential aged care population has increased the demand for nurses and personal care workers skilled in the delivery of highly complex care.
At Bolton Clarke, new graduates are mentored into their roles and have opportunities to develop expertise in a wide variety of clinical specialties. Roles for nurses at Bolton Clarke include clinical positions, nurse leadership and management roles, educators, clinical nurse specialists, advanced practice, and nurse practitioners.
Personal care workers at Bolton Clarke can also advance their practice and learning with access to a broad range of education opportunities and support from experienced clinical staff.
Students at Bolton Clarke
Our Clinical Placement program offers those studying within the health professions an insight into either a residential aged care facility (in NSW or Queensland) or At Home Support sites (currently in Victoria).
We provide an induction or orientation which includes a clinical placement handbook and an online training module which includes topics such as infection control, manual handling, elder abuse & our code of conduct. We also conduct a manual handling session in our residential aged care facilities on the first day of placement.

To enable learning and growth at Bolton Clarke we have built our learning and development offering to not only support our people in providing optimum service delivery, but also offering a wide range of education and development activities to support growth in every aspect of your development.
The Bolton Clarke Learning and Organisation Development team offers courses aimed at equipping health and aged care professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver better health and quality of life for your clients while connecting with our organisation's purpose.
