Mr Crawford is an experienced board chair and non-executive director across a variety of sectors including not-for-profit, health, insurance, legal and sport. He had an extensive legal career over 30 years at national law firm DLA Phillips Fox including as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Mr Crawford is currently the Chair of Queensland Country Health Fund, Heart Research Australia, the Energy and Water Ombudsman NSW and New South Wales Rugby Union. He has previously been the Chair of HBF Health Limited, Heart Research Australia and Grant Thornton Australia and a member of the boards of Konekt Limited (a workplace occupational, risk, rehabilitation and training provider) and Thrifty Western Australia and the President of the Northern Suburbs Rugby Football Club.
