Positive village lifestyle recognised at Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards

Bolton Clarke’s Armstrong Green community on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula has received international recognition at the 14th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards in Singapore.
The community was awarded a Special Recognition Award in the Operator of the Year – Senior Living category at the event, which attracted 420 submissions across 46 categories.
The awards recognise impactful solutions, transformative models and dedication to advancing eldercare across the Asia Pacific region.
The Special Recognition Award recognised Armstrong Green’s focus on resident health and wellness including through a dedicated focus on lifestyle and wellbeing backed by the work of the Bolton Clarke Research Institute. Activities on offer range from sporting competitions to art and music classes and social events.
This work is underpinned by features including a modern clubhouse with gym, pamper room, indoor heated swimming pool and spa along with a full-sized bowling green.
“Armstrong Green is a great example of how built environment and services built around resident needs and preferences can people to live positively,” Bolton Clarke Chief Operating Officer Retirement Living Brett Rice said.
“We’re delighted to see this beautiful community recognised on the world stage.”
Bolton Clarke also earned finalise spots for innovations in home and community support including a Virtual Model of Care for allied health and VIP booking program for retirement living residents receiving in-home support.
The Best in Grow gardening program supporting active ageing and the organisation’s Aspire future leaders program also achieved recognition as finalists.
