Currently undergoing a major redevelopment, Fernhill will become a state of the art facility in the heart of the Caboolture township, at the foot of the Glasshouse Mountains and the gateway to the Sunshine Coast. One of the very first residential aged care homes in the Bolton Clarke community, an opulent homestead was donated by the Newman family in 1947 and opened in 1950 to war veterans. In the following six decades, we have continually developed Fernhill as a modern and contemporary community.
Set across a sprawling acreage, residents are just minutes from shopping and transport, with everything on the doorstep. A large day therapy centre delivers preventative and restorative wellness programs in the Caboolture and Redcliffe Peninsula region. Our individual and group programs guide you to maintain your independence. Other specialised services include a diabetes management program accredited by Diabetes Australia to teach participants about medications, healthy eating, blood glucose monitoring and exercise.
The centrally located community spaces mean there is always somewhere to find a quiet space and enjoy the views of the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance.
Activities range from organised events, arts and crafts, happy hour, regular BBQs, concerts and entertainment, and visits to other nearby Bolton Clarke communities.
Our services include respite services, dementia care; a registered nurse on duty 24 hours; visiting GP and allied health professionals.
Bolton Clarke works with you and your loved ones to help you live well in a safe and friendly environment. That includes access to information and services enabling you to make informed choices about your new home.
Our team is happy to take you for a tour of your new home, assist you through the application process or tell you more about our Caboolture community.
All residents require an assessment prior to admission to Fernhill Residential Aged Care.
