Elvis returns to resident delight
The King has returned, delighting residents with a special concert at Bolton Clarke Macquarie View aged care community in Bolton Point.
The predominantly male crowd were visibly moved by the appearance of a hero from their youth, bringing tears to more than one set of eyes.
Relief Residential Manager Cherry Le Ray said that residents were overjoyed to have seen the King once more.
“It is a great pleasure for our team to be able to provide these experiences and special concerts for our residents,” she said.
“We found such a skilled performer you’d almost think Elvis himself was present.”
The residents certainly seemed to agree.
“‘Beautiful’ was the sentiment repeated most often on the day,” said Cherry.
