Skin changes as we age and is less able to protect and heal itself. What we eat and drink is of great importance to help nourish and improve skin health.

‘Healthy Skin’ is a community information session about skin health and nutrition.

This information session will teach you techniques to help improve and maintain your skin health so you can feel healthy and confident in your own skin.

About the Program


The Be Healthy and Active program, delivered in partnership with Bowls Australia, provides free, practical sessions for older people on topics including nutrition, falls prevention, CPR and defibrillation, bladder health, skin health and positive ageing.

Since the project began in 2016, we have delivered over 425 sessions to more than 11,700 people around Australia. Our audience mostly seniors and retirees at venues including Bowls Clubs, retirement villages, community centres, RSL Clubs and church halls.

Our Be Healthy and Active program was the only Australian finalist in the 6th APAC Eldercare Innovation Awards 2018, in the Best Active Ageing Programme – Community at the 9th International Ageing Asia Innovation Forum in Singapore.

Bolton Clarke ‘Be Healthy and Active‘ sessions are packed with practical advice and strategies to help you get the most out of life. Each one hour session focuses on a different topic and is free of charge thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.
