At Home Support opens up Wendy’s world

It’s the support to do the little things like shopping and walking the dog that has changed life for Wendy King, Bolton Clarke At Home Support client in Port Macquarie .

Wendy is on a tailored Bolton Clarke At Home Support package which she says has “opened up her world”.

“Not only do I have assistance around the house with things like cleaning, I have help with my shopping.  And three times a week they pick me up and take me to the pool for my hydrotherapy and other medical appointments,” she says.

“Hydrotherapy has done wonders for me – it doesn’t get much better than water.

“With my back and knee problems, there was definitely a time when things were not good. But now I have my independence.

“My confidence has been boosted so high. People can tell it in my voice. What’s more, I am feeling I can be active again; I want to do things now.

With her At Home Support Package, Wendy can now stay at home with James, her dog, which her support workers also help walk.

“They care, they listen and they provide the services that I need,” she said.

“I am truly grateful. It makes me feel like I have won the lottery.”

Bolton Clarke At Home Support is a range of practical, flexible services covering home nursing, home assistance, allied health and mental health.

All services are designed to keep you living independently in the place you call home for as long as possible – delivered with the warm-hearted kindness and respect you deserve.
