Information sessions to help you stay healthy

The Be Healthy and Active program, delivered in partnership with Bowls Australia, provides free, practical sessions for older people on topics including nutrition, falls prevention, CPR and defibrillation, bladder health, skin health and positive ageing.

Since the project began in 2016, we have delivered over 540 sessions to more than 15,200 people around Australia. Our audience is mostly seniors and retirees at venues including Bowls Clubs, retirement villages, community centres, RSL Clubs and church halls.

Our Be Healthy and Active program was the only Australian finalist in the 6th APAC Eldercare Innovation Awards 2018, in the Best Active Ageing Programme – Community at the 9th International Ageing Asia Innovation Forum in Singapore.
